Cold day in WIsconsin

well this is a colder day in wisconsin. we were suppose to get snow and I was praying for snow but no luck. The snow went south and north east. Oh well another day I guess.
We cut up our deer today. That is always a big job. I wanted to take my day to myself and do something fun like SCRAPBOOK but guess that is not going to happen.
Mackenzi and I went shopping for a short time on black friday but i am not into all that pushing and shoving just not my cup of tea. and i don't like Tea lol
Winter is setteling in and soon we will be putting up the tree. It is always fun to get the family together and putting the bulbs on the tree.
Can't wait until my girsl weekend away. always a plus.
well boring life i lead but am excited for the next day.

Well Plugging away at the Walmart Job. I love working in the pet deptment. It is so neat to hear all the pet stories. This week someone came in and was talking about their pot belly pig that was a pet. she was giving her away because she said babysitting for her was not there. I asked al if i could have her but he said only if I got rid of my cats. well that isn't happening. LOL so guess i am not getting a pig. I have been working my tail litterly. I went to the doctor last thursday and then back to the doctor this thursday and in one week i have lost 9 pounds. I was thrilled but the doctor said this is not a good way to lose it but well what ever way it wants come off is how i feel. so Hopefully it will continue to evacuate this body LOL
The boys are going hunting on sat. say a prayer they bring home some meat.

Winter ARg

I love snow but hate cold. brrrrrr.
well I started a job last saturday at walmart. I am working in the pets dept. I am excited about gettting the job.
Mackenzi is moving back home. She is going to once again try and get back on her feet. It is such a tough world for our kids to try and make it on their own.
Wish I had time to scrapbook. I got an expression month in a half ago and only used it once.
Cody and alan have started filling out scholarships for college. Before I know it i will be sending them off to PA.
Al goes to the doctor about his shoulder this friday. HOpe they do surgery soon. He is in so much pain. I hate to see him like that.
well Not much happening Hope this finds everyone warm and fuzzy.

Sunday was our 17th Wedding anniversary and well we had spent the weekend at the camper with the kids and had a great time. we went home took showers and took off. we were just driving had a couple places in mind but we ended up in South Dakota. We spent Sunday Night in Albert Lea Mn, and then Monday night in Wall, SD and Tuesday night in Keystone SD. We have seen so many things. All of things I myself have never seen But al has been here before. We went to Wall Drug, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Badlands and will do more today. No kids came so it is just us. Will try and figure out how to put more pictures on here. and will share more of our trip later too. Thanks for looking.

continuance of Kenny

Funeral was a tough one to attend. He was a contruction worker and his employer shut down for Kennys funeral and everyone came. There was more tears from guys than I had ever seen in my life. It was a Catholic service which is long but it was a great sermon and well respected.
Not much about it just glad this one is over.

Gone to fast and to Early..................

On Saturday my Mothers Significant others Nephew Passed away. He had been sick with a cough and spitting up yucky stuff. He refused to go to the doctor. On Tuesday a friend/boss went to Kenny's house and forced him to go to the hospital. He was admitted with Pneumonia and On Thursday evening his sister was talking, laughing, and watching TV with him. She told him about 8:30 pm that she was going to head home and that is the last she seen him with his eyes open. She received a call during the night that he had taken a turn for the worst and a ventilator was put in. On Friday the family was told he was Brain dead due to the lack of Oxygen. On Saturday evening he went into cardiac arrest and died. This a a great lesson for everyone involved. Your sick don't wait go to the doctor.
This hunting season is going to be so tough with out Kenny especially my own Daughter Brianna.
we are going to miss you Kenny.

wow how the year flys by

Al went to the Cardiac doctor due to one of his doctors freaking out. well he got a clean bill of health. such wonderful news we were concerned but not worried.
I went to scrap-fest in the twin cities. I had a great time but wow the walking really did me in. Wished i would have did more classes. They are fun and Nothing to be scared of. lol
Archivers did a wonderful job keeping us happy at the crop.
Well summer seems to be over even though it was pretty nice today. Fall here we come. My moto though is the sooner we let winter come the sooner we can start counting down the winter to spring again.
We are remodeling once again. Tearing out the upstairs bathroom and putting in a shower/bath combo instead of just a bath. Cant wait for that.
Friday we had wyo tech here to sign the boys up for college. wow It sure is expensive but so exciting for them and for us.
I would love to put pictures up but still have not figured that one out yet.

Just another busy life in the Hembd family. Al took an extra day off from work so that he could catch up on home honey due list. well he did something to his knee and went to the doctor and she said he has to have a knee replacement. He refuses. MEN................
Alan had his surgery last Friday to have his tonisils and Uvila removed. Still today he can 't eat anything but cottage cheese. He can't talk his normal way. He finally found Apple juice which does not bother his throat as much as powerade an other drinks. He looks like he has lost weight due to not being able to eat for a week.
